Oh My Brand!!
Yep, this was my first expression when I saw this newly posted topic on www.readwriteweb.com See how threatening it could be if you are not serious about your Brand Protection over Internet. A man wrote an email to Richard MacManus(Editor and Publisher, ReadWriteWeb Network) that he is going to launch a mobile based website with name “ReadWriteWeb.mobi“, which he has registered already.
One of my good friends vineet messaged me on Yahoo messenger to look into a newly posted topic on RWW (readwriteweb*) and really now I think we need to rethink over protecting our brand over Internet, because what happened with RWW could happen to you and me too. the only safe point we have this time is millions of people doesn’t know us today and if our website goes does down for few seconds, it won’t hurt our userbase too. lol.
But yes definitely everyone operating a website on Internet, specially the business oriented websites owners, its an alarm for you!!
